About this Blog

What started as a joke turned into this blog.  We were as normal as pumpkin pie before we started cooking on the majority of our date nights.  Since then we've both graduated from undergrad at Indiana University and moved on to further develop our respective careers.  Between Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, we've been able to share a lot of photos of our meals and many of our Hoosier friends suggested we create a food blog.  We were tired and miserable (see this) when we were younger, but the cooking has kept our spirits up in recent times.  During our time at IU we were both Little 500 riders and still have close ties to the race and a lot the people we met along the way, hence our many references to Breaking Away.

RJ is a homegrown Hoosier, born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana and still resides here in town.  He is pursuing his M.S. degree in Exercise Physiology and plans to continue on to a Doctorate in the same field.

Amy is an Indianapolis native who has a rich family history with Indiana University.  She is currently a dietetic intern at IUPUI in Indianapolis.  Upon completion of the internship next year, she plans to become a registered dietitian and hopes to work with children and special needs populations.
